Ghalib Abbasi
Dr. Ghalib Abbasi is the System Director of Pharmacy Informatics at Houston Methodist Health System in Houston, Texas. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Science Degrees from the University of Iowa, and his MBA degree from West Texas A&M University. During his tenure, Dr. Abbasi has worked in several pharmacy settings including community, hospital, and industry. He has spent the last decade and half of his career in the field of pharmacy informatics, where he heavily contributed towards the progress of this niche section of the profession. Dr. Abbasi has several publications and US patents in the fields of pharmacy informatics, operations, and finance. He continues to be an active member in several national and international pharmacy organizations and networks.

Mark Lawson
Mark Lawson is Texas & Illinois Pharmacist and a certified BCOP with experience working at multiple hospitals. He did BS Nutrition from Iowa State University and Pharm-D from Drake University College of Pharmacy. He also has certification for Epic Beacon Super-user. He is currently working as Embedded Oncology Pharmacist in Lansing, Michigan where he conducts office visits with patients on oral chemotherapy and bills team based care codes. He worked at Kelsey Seybold as Infusion area Pharmacy Manager, Texas Childrens Hospital as Oncology Pediatric Pharmacist, MD Anderson as Oncology Satellite Pharmacist, North Austin Medical Center as NICU-Satellite Clinical/Staff Pharmacist, Johnson City Medical Center as Ambulatory Cancer Center Clinical Oncology Pharmacist, Sutter Health System as Infusion Pharmacist, Christus Health-St Michael’s Hospital as Director of Pharmacy.

Aisha Riaz
Aisha Riaz is currently working as Division Director of Pharmacy Operations for the Gulf Coast Division at HCA Houston Healthcare and have been in the position for over 2 1/2 years now. Previously, she served as the Market Director of Pharmacy for The Woman’s Hospital of Texas and Pearland Medical Center. She has been working in a leadership role as a Director of Pharmacy since 2006. She moved to Houston over 25 years ago after graduating from King’s College London.
